Candidate does meet and greet at Lansing Center

I just had an environmental stewardship meeting yesterday. We were talking about a fundraiser. Now I’m doing it. Such a thrill!

Kent County has some of the state’s best farmland. In late April, 7 officials from Kent County went to Pennsylvania and Maryland. They were thinking farms could be preserved to protect the industry.

2,500 future farmers of America are holding their annual conference at Michigan State University this week. Yesterday, some of them came to the rotunda at the state capital.

More than 2 thousand Michigan Future Farmers of America have finished up their annual convention at Michigan State University. They debate agricultural issues and compete for prizes in leadership.

Michigan State University is hosting its annual land use summit today. Dozens of so called prosperity teams share ideas and hear how state government can help them improve their communities.

Yesterday at the Lansing Center, experts in agriculture, nutrition and health met to confer on what was billed the “seeds of prosperity.”
