Flint Man Left Guns for Broom in Church

INTRO: For three straight years, in 2010, 11 and 12, the FBI said Flint had the highest violent crime rate per capita in the country. The numbers dropped somewhat last year. Sherman McCathern is pastor of Joy Tabernacle in the Civic Park section of Flint. The church is on Dayton St. and Chevrolet Ave. Michigan Now’s Chris McCarus met a young man named Domimic who has picked up a broom in the church and laid down his guns. Here Dominic describes some of the weapons he used to have.
